Can’t come to our museum? The Las Vegas Natural History Museum can bring one of our inquiry-based, educational programs to you. Through our outreach program, students will examine reproduction and real fossils, allowing them to learn through pre-historic analysis and critical thinking.

Outreaches are available for classrooms and public fairs.

The outreach programs support the Nevada Standards of Learning, and you can find related teaching resources in our Lesson Center to supplement the learning. The classroom outreach programs are designed for an average class size and last one hour. Their are 3 themes to choose from (Marine, Dinosaurs & Nevada Fossil History)

The fair outreach programs are FREE & include interactive activities of varying subjects and are available 10am-3pm.

Costs- Included are $100 per classroom & additional $50 per extra classes joining. Fairs do not have a fee. Free, donor-funded opportunities are available for Title I schools. However, this is limited funding and teachers are encouraged to secure their session at the beginning of the school year.

Questions- Contact us at lvnhmuseum@gmail.com or call (702) 384-3466 ext.223

Classroom outreach programs are only available in Las Vegas. If you’re outside Las Vegas or visitors are not allowed in your school this year, you can still experience our inquiry-based programs through our online resources.
